Non Surgical Rhinoplasty / Nose Job
DON’T LIKE YOUR NOSE ?
Nose fillers: Non-surgical rhinoplasty
Did you know that you can have a nose job without surgery? Dermal fillers are used to add shape and volume to areas of the face, and recently they are becoming more popular to correct features of the nose with instant results, no bruising and no downtime. With injections in the right spots of the nose and cheeks, the procedure can give the appearance that bumps are flattened, hooks are shortened, and bridges are thinned. Nose fillers are a non-surgical, minimally invasive cosmetic treatment. The fillers are injected under the surface of the skin to adjust shape and symmetry of the skin of the nose. The entire procedure can take less than an hour and results are instantly visible. It is important to note, that like all treatments with dermal fillers, the results are not permanent. Since we don’t move our noses too much, the results can last between 12-18 months.
Nose fillers are a great choice for anyone who has thought about getting a nose job, but does not want to go through a painful and expensive surgery. Think they might be a good option for you? Come see us at Fresh Faces Cosmetic Medicine for a free consultation, and to discuss your needs and any questions about the treatment.

What are nose fillers?
Nose fillers are a type of dermal injections and they are a popular treatment to correct imperfections or improve the shape of the nose. The fillers can add volume or symmetry, smooth out bumps in the bridge, or give the shape of the nose a more slender look. The fillers are injected beneath the surface of the skin, giving a subtle plumpness and lift, similar to patients who use dermal fillers for their lips or cheeks.
We only use the highest quality injectables, more specifically, we use award-winning, ultra-premium brands from Europe and Switzerland. As injections are placed within the skin, the fillers add volume and shape, which can help even out bumps in the bridge of the nose, give a more refined look or improve symmetry. The results are visible immediately.

Your nose fillers treatment.
Most patients for non-surgical nose jobs can proceed with the treatment immediately after their consultation. The treatment is minimally invasive and does not require incisions or anesthetic, but we can apply a numbing cream to help reduce any pain near the injection points. Nose, and all dermal fillers are injected with a very fine needle or cannula, using extreme precision. The results can be seen right away. You will see that your skin around your nose is instantly visibly lifted and smoother. The Injectors can gradually add volume until you achieve your desired results. The entire procedure, including the consultation and applying numbing cream, will take less than an hour. Afterwards, there is downtime and you can return to your daily routine as soon as you leave the office.
After your nose fillers treatment, it could take a week or two to see the full results, as the fillers settle in your skin. The procedure can also be reversed easily if you are not happy with the results.

How long do nose fillers last?
You will notice your results immediately, as the injections will instantly correct the shape of your nose. Depending on your treatment, it could take 1-2 weeks for the fillers to settle and for you to see the full results. Unlike rhinoplasty surgery, nose fillers are not permanent. For most patients, nose fillers can last up to 12-18 months. This is longer than most dermal fillers because we tend to not move our noses as much as other parts of our face. After a year or two, you may consider returning to our office for small touch-ups to maintain your results. Eventually, the fillers are broken down naturally and safely absorbed by the body.
Are nose fillers safe?
Nose fillers are becoming a popular treatment for fixing or adjusting the shape of the nose in a minimally invasive, simple procedure, rather than having rhinoplasty surgery. Surgery can be expensive, painful, with weeks of recovery. However, with nose fillers there are very few side effects and no downtime. The fillers we use are among the safest, with less chance of bruising afterwards and allergic reactions are very rare.
Side effects from dermal fillers include swelling, redness or slight bleeding from the injection sites. These reactions are completely normal and will diminish in a few days. Other possible reactions you may notice are rashes, or acne-like bumps near the injection sites. While rare, these should also disappear after a few days.
Before you have nose fillers, the area should be free of abnormalities. If you have cold sores, open wounds or infections, it is best to wait until they are healed, since possible risks are agitation and infections. There are also higher risks for patients with autoimmune diseases, blood disorders, or allergies to anesthesia. Please discuss your medical history with our injector during your consultation so that he/she is aware of any potential risks.
Should any of your side effects last for more than a few days after the treatment, or if you are noticing other or more serious reactions, please call us immediately.
How much do nose fillers cost?
We tailor every treatment to individual needs and desired results. While nose fillers will not cost as much as a surgical rhinoplasty, the cost will vary depending on what you are seeking. You can call us to discuss or ask your doctor/nurse during the consultation. We will happily review all costs, and if needed we can organize payment plans.
